Questions

Daniel Garcia
ENG 1320/1301.158
Instructor: Tran Phan

1. What were your concerns about in an SQR? What would you like the group to consider, respond to, or evaluate on an SQR of yours?
My principal concerns about doing a SQR are: First getting the whole idea of the reading, after getting the idea, I try to don’t put my opinion in the summary and put the authors point of view. I try to don’t miss any important detail. Then when I finish the summary, my next concern is try to answer fully the question. I try to make a complete and clear answer that make sense.
I would like to group to consider my point of view, also to put what they think about the question, in order to see another person point of view and enrich my knowledge about the topic. They can evaluate the punctuation and If we repeat some words, put a synonymous of the word that we repeat to enrich our vocabulary.
2. How did you see/evaluate the comments you made on your peers’ papers? Honestly, do you think they were really helpful? (It’s ok that you can say no. If that’s the case, please state what made you unable to provide specific comments as you wished. It’s important for me to know how carefully you read your peers’ papers and how did you work on commenting your friends’ papers).
Depending on what they answer I were very honest on the comments that I put, because I read some really good answer, and I congratulated them for their good work. But if they didn’t give a good answer, I put a comment saying that they make a bad answer, that they miss the point, that I don understand they point of view.
